The Senior Nutrition Program is open to anyone age 60 or older, specifically targeting vulnerable seniors who need help in meeting their daily nutritional requirements.
The suggested donation for a meal is $3-$6 depending on your ability to give. The Senior Nutrition Program will not refuse a meal based on a person’s ability or inability to donate. Any donation is appreciated and is used to expand and enhance the program.
Funding for this program comes from the federal Older Americans Act through the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging, USDA, grants, and corporate and individual donations.
Senior Services for South Sound does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation or disability.
Those persons under the age of 60, except in some circumstances, must pay the full cost of the meal as listed below.
• The actual cost of providing a congregate meal is $5.32
